**Divisibility Rule for 4**

If you divide a number by 4 and you get a whole number as an answer (quotient), then that number is divisible by 4.

Instead of simply dividing your number by 4 to see if you get a whole number, you can use what we call the Divisibility Rule for 4.

The Divisibility Rule for 4 is used to determine if a number is divisible by 4. You can also call it the test of divisibility for 4.

A number is divisible by 4 if the number formed by the last two digits in the number is divisible by 4.

For example, 4,353,216 is divisible by 4 because 16 is divisible by 4.

However, 4,163,214 is not divisible by 4 because 14 is not divisible by 4.
