Here we will show you two different methods you can use to determine if 10 is a factor of 10.

The first method entails simply listing all factors of 10 and then seeing if 10 is one of them. The factors of 10 are 1, 2, 5, and 10. Looking at the list, you see that 10 is on the list, and the answer to "Is 10 a factor of 10?" is therefore yes.

For the second and perhaps easier method, we divide 10 by 10 to see if the quotient is a whole number or fractional number. If the quotient is a whole number, then 10 is a factor of 10. If the quotient is a fractional number, then 10 is not a factor of 10.

10 divided by 10 is 1 which is a whole number. Thus, once again, the answer to "Is 10 a factor of 10?" is yes.
